MEET THE COMMITTEE

GAIL ENDRES
GAIL ENDRESPRESIDENT

My first role in a production was in Annie Get Your Gun (1970) and I played the role of one of Annie’s younger sisters, Winnie. With pigtails, bare feet, rope for a belt and smudges of dirt on my face. It was not what I imagined ‘my debut to the world of theatre’ would be like. I loved it, and have not stopped loving it!! I have had various roles in musicals, dramas, 3 One Plays and 3 Act Plays.
As always, and now as President of Maryborough Players since 2012, it has been pleasure to watch not only our ‘active’ members take part in productions, but also the mature adults and younger performers take their first tentative steps into theatre and to see them develop confidence and theatre skills and knowledge.
